We highly recommend booking your hair and makeup services 9-12months before your special day. We understand things happen, so we are still happy to accept weddings at 60 days before the big day. We want your booking process to be smooth & flawless which does require adequate time. To get this process going, simply fill out the inquiry form and we will respond back within 24-48 hours.

No you don’t! We are happy to do zoom calls for your complimentary consultation. If you’d prefer to come in for a consultation, you’re more than welcome to! We are located at 105 E. Van Buren St, Woodstock IL 60098

To have our team come on location, we require a minimum of 8 services. (Hair and makeup equals 2 separate services.)

On occasion, we are able to accomodate smaller wedding parties

We appreciate full transparency! No hidden fees over here! The only additional fees we have are travel/parking fees!

Yes! Unless unforeseen acts of God occur, the artist that completes the services on your preview day, will be the artist for you on the wedding day. Immediately after signing your contract and taking care of your retainer, you’ll be sent a Bella Artist Questionnaire that has a series of questions about desired hairstyle, makeup looks, personality questions & availability so we can match you with the best artist on our team. You’ll then schedule a phone call with them to break the ice, get to know each other, discuss your hair and makeup dreams and chat about any hair or skin concerns you may have so she can be best prepared for you on your preview day. We want your hair and makeup artist to be your newest bestie!

It is highly recommended that all of our brides do a preview, because as much as you love that Pinterest look, it may not compliment your personal features and we want you to look and feel confident on your special day! (Think an outfit on the hanger vs outfit on a body!) We recommend scheduling your preview 8-12 weeks before your big day so your hair and skin are similar to how they’ll be on wedding day, but still allows enough time for changes if needed.

To get the most out of your hair and makeup preview:

-Plan for 2 hours for hair and makeup

-Wear something similar to the color of the outfit you’ll be wearing on the wedding day

-Wear something with a similar neckline as well- tank top, sleeveless, long sleeve, etc.

-Come with clean, dry, non-flat ironed hair

-Come with clean, hydrated, exfoliated skin

-Bring your hair piece/s, and veil

-Have an idea or ideas of looks that you love

-Come alone or you may bring 1-2max people along with you. Please make sure this person/people understand your vision for your day of look, know your concerns and must haves, and will only support you and build up your confidence. Opinions are welcome, but should be in line with your values.  

You should plan for 2 hours for a hair and makeup preview. This will allow for time for you and your artist to go over your hair and makeup details, complete all services, and go over your final look details.

Yes! Anyone that would prefer to have a preview before the big day, is welcome to do so. We are happy to book both your preview and their preview on the same day and time, or we can keep them on separate days and times as well.

Yes, we can! The more the merrier! We have a full, talented team of hair and makeup artists that can handle everyone’s services all in 4 hours! The best part- NO extra artist fees! So let us take care of you, your entire wedding party, mom, grandma, junior bridesmaids, flower girls, wedding attendants, officiant, etc.! 

We take pride in completing all services in 4 hours on wedding day

We are happy to take care of everyone’s hair and makeup for your special day, but we understand you may only need hair or makeup, and we are happy to provide either of the services you need. You and or your attendants, are welcome to choose between ”hair and makeup”, “hair only“ or “makeup only”. We are happy to work along side other artists from other companies as well! We love making new friends in the wedding industry!

Yes we will! Actually, we will take it a step further! 8-10 weeks before your special day, we will hope on a phone call to go over your day of details, finalize all services and times, and we will also discuss who’d you’d like to go when to ensure your morning goes flawlessly! Then 4-6 weeks before your big day, you’ll receive your day of beauty schedule!

If your MOH needs to help set up your center pieces, we don’t want her to get her hair and makeup done then go run around the venue creating masterpieces, just as we don‘t want your adorable 3yr old flower girl to be first in line then take the rest of the morning burning off that excited energy. If you have an out of town bestie that needs a little more travel time, let’s give them the time they need! 

Your wedding day schedule will be exactly what you need it to be to organize the chaos and  make your morning enjoyable and fun!

Yes! If you are local to the Woodstock, IL area, we’d love to have you in for your hair and makeup preview where we can dial in on your dream look for your special day, then join you at your destination to do all the hair and makeup services for you and your wedding party! We’d be happy to come early to glam you up for your rehearsal dinner as well.
